Artist’s Surface Textures
This set of 40 hand-made painted textures will give your photos the look of paint on a canvas. These are real photographs of paint (not created digitally) and work well with a wide variety of images.
Included in your purchase are 40 hand-painted texture overlays in JPEG format. Also includes installation files for ON1 Photo RAW and Luminar to easily import the textures and presets, as well as video tutorials to demonstrate how to import, apply, and stylize these textures using Luminar, ON1 Photo RAW, and Photoshop.
Photoshop CC Actions:
Use the included Photoshop actions to add an oil-paint filter to your photos, along with the ability to apply an Artist’s Surface texture to your image at the same time.
Luminar Looks, Presets, and Templates:
Included with your purchase are presets for Luminar 4, Luminar AI, and Luminar Neo, which will mimic the look of a painted effect and apply an Artist’s Surface texture, all with one click.
ON1 Photo RAW:

For example, I attach the original photo, a photo after applying the Nicole add-on and a photo after using the Real Paint FX action script for Photoshop add-on.

There has been an argument for years about taking pictures vs. making pictures. I was in the taking pictures group until recently. I am older and it is difficult for me to be able to get out in the field to "take" pictures. I am now enjoying "making" pictures a lot more. The Artist Surface is a fun thing to "make" pictures with.

I bought the package as I had been looking for something like this for while. I use Windows 10 and the latest OnOne software. Unfortunately the presets wont load properly and Nicolesy cant seem to help with this. Am I the only person with this problem?

I’ve only had a chance to use these a few times while experimenting on some of my work. They are so cool! And, they are super easy to use. The actions load right up and work great. I even tried the Luminar versions and those are super easy to use as well.

I’m very happy to have these textures for a more artistic look for some of my photo’s. In the example photo, I separated (masked) the background from the main subject (red leaves) to ensure the effect was only visible on the backgroundlayer. Based on the original background structure/information I used creative filters to change the original background look. After finishing this background change, I choose for one of the Artistic surface textures (nr.14). I used the weak light modus (photoshop) and refined some spots by using detail sharpening and other enhancement tools. The main subject (red leaves) was made a bit cartoonish for a more "painting look”. After completing the image I was not satisfied and therefore I used a second texture layer with only small details (nr. 1). Again I did some local sharpening and removed some spots with the healing brush or stamp clone. Ps. Sorry for my bad English language. I’m just an ordinary Dutchman.
