My image takes on new dimensions with these textures.
Beautiful texture, excellent quality! I like it a lot.
After experimenting with the template on several different photos found that it works best with shots that lend themselves to a painterly look. It's another arrow in the quiver for sure.
Artist textures look great on certain photos. good value for the money
I purchased this product from Nicolesa's store and I am very happy with it. I recommend it to everyone. Very easy to use and with great results. For example, I attach the original photo, a photo after applying the Nicole add-on and a photo after using the Real Paint FX action script for Photoshop add-on.
There has been an argument for years about taking pictures vs. making pictures. I was in the taking pictures group until recently. I am older and it is difficult for me to be able to get out in the field to "take" pictures. I am now enjoying "making" pictures a lot more. The Artist Surface is a fun thing to "make" pictures with.
I bought the package as I had been looking for something like this for while. I use Windows 10 and the latest OnOne software. Unfortunately the presets wont load properly and Nicolesy cant seem to help with this. Am I the only person with this problem?
Great set of course textures. I would also like to see you offer a set of fine textures.
I’ve only had a chance to use these a few times while experimenting on some of my work. They are so cool! And, they are super easy to use. The actions load right up and work great. I even tried the Luminar versions and those are super easy to use as well.
These textures are perfect for anyone wishing to apply a painterly look to any image and are supplied in many formats to cover most applications
I love these textures. There are so many ways to use them and you get great results.
Adds extra 3D dimensionality to static shots - especially useful to t5art up those endless historical building shots we insist on taking.
I've used Nicolsey's Artists Surface Textures to enhance some of the skies I replaced in a couple of my bird portraits. I love the painterly effect!
I’m very happy to have these textures for a more artistic look for some of my photo’s.
In the example photo, I separated (masked) the background from the main subject (red leaves) to ensure the effect was only visible on the backgroundlayer. Based on the original background structure/information I used creative filters to change the original background look. After finishing this background change, I choose for one of the Artistic surface textures (nr.14). I used the weak light modus (photoshop) and refined some spots by using detail sharpening and other enhancement tools. The main subject (red leaves) was made a bit cartoonish for a more "painting look”. After completing the image I was not satisfied and therefore I used a second texture layer with only small details (nr. 1). Again I did some local sharpening and removed some spots with the healing brush or stamp clone.
Ps. Sorry for my bad English language. I’m just an ordinary Dutchman.
These are so great, you will be surprised how amazingly real they look and so easy to use.
I am just getting “into” textures, and I have found these much more enjoyable to use than those I already have. Nice to be able to make a photo look like it’s been painted.
High quality textures, they are wonderful
I was waiting for longtime for a textures like this,
it give my photos that rusty looks.
well done Nicole
J' ai acheté dés sa parution ARTIST'S SURFACE TEXTURES.
J' ai eu la désagréable surprise de constater que le pack pour luminar 4
ne peut être utilisé sous Windows 10 .
I have recently been made aware of a bug in the Windows version of Luminar 4 that prevents the looks from being installed properly, and I apologize for the inconvenience. This issue is out of my control and Skylum has assured me that the bug will be fixed in an update. In the meanwhile, the JPEG textures can be added manually using the Textures tool, and I also have instructions on how to add a stylized painterly look on my blog (https://nicolesyblog.com/2021/03/17/artists-surface/#luminar). And once Skylum fixes the problem the looks pack should be able to be installed without issue.
It gives average photos new life. I’m very satisfied with this purchase.
