This was my first attempt at learning and using Textures to enhance a photo. I had been absent from photo post processing and Photoshop, LR for several years, yet with Nicole Youngs experience and desire to help other's I picked it up fairly easily. Below is my first try by adding one of Nicole's Rustic Textures to an image of a Savannah Sparrow. I totally recommend Nicoles YouTube video's, tuitorial's and products on her website to everyone wishing to take their images to a new and higher level of artistry. C. Strand

I have recently purchased the Rustic Textures and Chroma presets; and have not yet tested them thoroughly. But what I have used, I've found very satisfactory. Just glancing through each of the sets gives me confidence to be using them whenever appropriate.

Just getting into textures in PS. There are lots of free ones out there but typically lowish res. These are 6000x4000. I like the built in vignette as well. Very effective to bring out the subject.

I have been using products from Nicolesy since 2013 and was always satisfied. This latest kit of presets gives excellent results with rural scenes. A kind of 1890 painterly look. Go for it!!!!
