Add a glowing element of jeweled light to your photographs with the Nicolesy Jewel overlays. These are real photographs of light blurs created from photographing through crystals and jewels (not created digitally) and work well with a wide variety of images.
Included in your purchase are 100 jewel overlays in JPEG format. It also includes installation files for ON1 Photo RAW and Luminar to easily import the textures and presets, as well as Photoshop actions to stylize your image and make it easy to apply the Jewel to your document.
When using the installation presets and actions (ON1, Luminar, and Photoshop) the presets will also add a stylized effect to your image to help enhance the Jewel overlay look.
The Jewel overlays work on any software application that supports JPEGs and layers, including (but not limited to):

I followed Nicolesy for many years and always admired her talent as a photographer and her professionalism as a Photoshop Educator.
When I bought the 'Jewel' package, I had a very practical use for it in mind already. It couldn't have come at a better time.
I had these flowers and bonsai photographed at the Autumn Festival Exhibition in Japan. If anyone went to one of those, they know that it is all about Chrysanthemums and they go either large -enormous flower heads- or go in miniature like in flowering bonsai mums.
Well, my photos were pretty messy, even with the advances in the selection tools in Photoshop it is hard to select something from a background that is a similar colour with the subject. So, the texture overlays were very useful. I could even use one almost directly as a background for a bonsai without much extra work.
I do not normally photograph flowers, well not 'professionally' at least, but my husband loves bonsai. It is his life-long hobby, so he likes to be inspired and get new ideas from time to time. So, I wanted to make a little photobook for him.
Anyway, Nicole asked me to include some example of me using the 'jewels' so, I will attach some images here. If you want to see some more, I have a new article coming on my Blog about the autumn festival I mentioned above at: https://blog.danielaphotography.com.au/
Thank you, and I totally recommend following Nicolesy! You will find something to inspire you too!
I use the Jewel over lays as I do textures. Using masks etc and they have a great effect.
Going through all the options, you can come up with some amazing effects.
I am just getting “into” using textures and this set gives me many more ideas of how to use them.
