Creating a book is a funny thing. I go in with an outline and a plan, but inevitably I discover that I can expand it, grow it, and make what was originally going to be a fairly straightforward book about software into nearly 250 meaty pages of delicious Luminar content. Hi Luc! Skylum has said that the DAM will be released “later this year”, and also that it is in the development stage and they do not have an ETA for it yet. When it is released I will likely send out a video update to all eBook customers to share the new features and give an overview on how it works. If it takes longer than expected then it might make it into a new eBook or video training series next year. I can’t really plan my software training too far in advance because I am limited by the release schedule of the software I’m writing about.

I have just purchased Luminar 3 and am completely new to the software, would this e-book be beneficial or should I look for something geared towards the new version? I need help learning the app, but need to spend my limited funds on training wisely. Thanks in advance for your assistance. Best regards .
Hi Lionel, thanks for your interest in my book! Because Luminar 3 is so new, the “Libraries” part of the software is not included in the book. However you will find that the post-processing in the book is very relevant and only slightly different because of the addition of the Libraries.
I also will be releasing a video this month to all purchasers of the book to explain what has changed and how it affects the book. But if your goal is to learn Luminar and how to process your photos, you’ll still get a lot of useful info from this book.
