Got 50 seconds?
I put this video together from images I photographed at Kerry Park last night before and after sunset (sunset was at 8:18 pm). I wanted to show a slow transition and fading from light to dark.
Watch how the light quickly fades from the buildings, and how it’s very boring until the lights of the city turn on. The mountain off in the distance also goes from visible to barely-there.

That's really neat to see the transition like that. I watched it a few times and looked at different aspects each time. It also reminded me how I need to add "Visit Seattle" to my bucket list. Thanks for posting!

I did the same thing +Christin McLeod. There's so much to see in about 35-40 seconds!

+Nicole S. Young Thanks for the tip and the video clip to illustrate it. It is quite a dramatic comparison between the shot at sunset to when the city lights come on with some twilight light in the mix.

Nice work!
Nice work!
Lovely! I discovered the same thing when we trekked to Kerry park. I took several sunset pictures, and waited for the city lights to come on. I waited, and waited and waited. We eventually drove into town for a few picnic supplies and came back just in time for dark. While there I saw a film crew making an intro of some kind, a quinceanera photo shoot, lots and lots of photographers staking out their spots with tripods, and some regular folks, too. It was an adventure!
Very cool. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful creation.
