I’ve had this photo in my head for quite some time, but I’m glad I waited to actually create the image. You see that bowl in the shot? It’s the amazing craftsmanship of my good friend Renee, an artist and fellow stock photographer. She gave it to me as a Christmas gift and once I saw it I knew it would fit in perfectly with this photo. She’s also inspired and encouraged me to take pottery class with her. I’m so excited! It will be a great opportunity to create my very own custom-designed and hand-painted dishes for my photography.

The bowl is gorgeous! But whatever is in the bowl is kind of scary. :)
Beautiful! I was going to say whatever is in the bowl looks good! I would be interested to hear how much time is involved for a shot like that Nicole.
This is a gorgeous shot. I love the colors and the mood. Is that an egg in the middle?
@Kimberly – Yes, that’s an egg. :)
The bowl is gorgeous and is perfect sitting on the red mat. The noodles look delicious and also, the egg with the black sesame seed garnish. I love handmade pottery!
Love this image…colors and textures are beautiful!!!
