This past weekend I used my Canon 7D in a stock photo-shoot for the first time. I’m extremely happy with the results … the focusing and overall quality was excellent, and it’s also nice to have larger file-sizes to offer to customers on iStockphoto. I am also lucky to have a good friend with some pro Canon glass to use for the shoot, since I don’t have any Canon lenses of my own quite yet (thanks, Rich!).
The two models in the shoot were wonderful to work with, and it’s really inspiring to see elderly people with such energy and a sense of humor. Days like this make me so grateful that I get to do this for my job.

Thanks Nicole! the Canon 7D looks great – I think I’ll “have” to be be satisfied with me 40D + 5D MKII combination for now (poor me, I know, I jest – I’m very happy with my kit). LOL. A pal is awaiting his 7D so I’m eager to see it in the flesh. Thanks for the post!
The clarity, sharpness & detail look awesome. You are a one person marketing machine for this 7D! In the hands of a master… :)
Now those are some great models. Glad to know the 7D quality for images is iStock Worthy I was worried about the noise at low ISOs but not anymore. XXL will be great!
Awesome!
